One more Ingles trip for Bertolli and butter!

I started feeling better and we decided to make one more trip to see if we could get a few more Bertolli sauces and butter.  While I was there, I remembered that I had a Rain Check for Pillsbury cinnamon rolls that was going to expire today, so I used it.  Plus a few more good deals that we could use. (I notice that the date on my camera needs to be adjusted!)

2 Boxes Raisin Bran  3.48 - 1/2  = 1.24ea
10 Bertolli pasta sauce  1.44 - .60/1 = .84ea
2 Blue Plate mayo 2.68 - 1/1  =  1.68ea
6 Land O'Lakes butter 1.07 - .50/1  = .07ea (not pictured)
10 Pillsbury cinn rolls 1.00 - .40/2  =  .60ea (not pictured)
From Mgr Spec buggy:
12 cans Chef Boy .91 - .35/3  =  .68ea
(the ONLY flavor that my kids like and we only buy it occassionally)
2 boxes True Lime  .99ea
3 2L bottles soda  .88ea

 Total OOP:  $34.08

My other shopping trips this week:  Ingles (39.55), Kroger(60.10), Kroger(20.67).

Ingles 2/27

I stopped by Ingles on my way home from Kroger, because they had our preferred brand of spagetti sauce on sale.  I wanted to stock up on that as well as the Land O'Lakes butter.  I bought some for us as well as for my dad.  I keep some of his stuff in my freezer and when he needs it I just take it to him.  So I kind of buy for 2 families.  I was also still in the mindset of needing to buy appropriate food to feed 6 kids in the car for 2 meals and a snack.  It shows in the choices I made; not to mention that I was sick and not thinking clearly.  And in our defense, we haven't had ice cream in at least 5 months...

Items in blue were for Saturday's road trip:
8 Bertolli pasta sauce  1.44  - .60/1  =  .84ea
5 Land O'Lakes butter  1.07  - .50/1  = .07ea
2 Lay's chips  1.99 - 1/1  =  .99ea
2 loaves french bread  .94ea
2 Nabisco Multipak 6.17/2 - 1/2 = 2.60ea
2 Dixie Crystal sugar 2.28 - .50/2 = 1.78ea
2 Crystal Light   1.64ea
2 bags carrots  .99ea
1 box of 6 pks individual sliced apples 1.49 Mgr Spec
2.5 lbs grapes  3.15
1 box Laura Lynn aluminum foil  2.28
4 Edy's ice cream  2.48 - 1/1  =  1.48ea

Total before sales/coupons:  111.32
Total OOP:  $39.55

Ingles - 12/12

Here's all I needed from Ingles:

4 bags Mrs. Paul's Fish sticks   3.74ea
5 Ray-o-vac batteries  1.25 - 1/1  =  .25ea

4 bags of fish sticks should last through May if we just eat one bag a month.  We'll see how that works out!   I don't buy fish sticks very often, in fact only when BOGO!  So the kids think this is a treat!

Here is Kroger(2.77), Publix(4.68), and Walmart(14.65) today too!  Grand total:  39.20

Ingles Shopping

OK, here is a shopping trip I needed to make because I was having a houseful of 5 teenage boys + the 4 younger children on Friday night.  I needed something quick and easy to fix.  We had almost all we needed for taco/nacho night, so I just filled in with the rest.  It added up quickly!

4 boxes SuperPretzels 1.44 - .50/1 dbl = .44ea
6 Pillsbury pizza dough 1.67 - .35/1 dbl = .97ea (hoping a catalina for $4 would print, but no)
6 pkgs Hidden Valley Ranch dip mix 1.00 - $1/3 = .67ea
1 bag oranges  = 2.98
5 bags tortilla chips 1.98ea
1 huge can nacho cheese = $7.57

Total OOP: 31.77
